Do you love working with people, structure, and growth? We’re looking for a hands-on HR Responsible to join our team at Gasoline Grill. You’ll play a key role in supporting our crew and leaders, building strong processes, and making sure everyone who interacts with us — from candidates to long-term employees — have a great experience.
About Gasoline Grill
Gasoline Grill started in 2016 and today we have 7 company-owned locations and 3 franchise restaurants with around 150 employees from over 30 nationalities. We’re known for our organic burgers, but we’re just as proud of the atmosphere we create — for both our guests and our people.

About the Role
As our HR Responsible, you’ll oversee all HR processes across the business. You’ll handle both daily operations and longer-term initiatives — from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, engagement and development.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structure, communication, and connection. You’ll work closely with our management team who besides HR consists of Brand Management, Operations, Training and the Founder ensuring that our people and culture grow alongside the company.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- One of your primary KPI’s is making sure that we at all times have the right people at the right time at our locations
- Lead recruitment for Young Support, Crew Members, and Managers
- Manage postings in Teamtailor, screening, phone interviews, and trial shift coordination
- Communicate with managers about staffing needs and trial shifts
- Handle onboarding and registration in systems (Planday, Monotree), including ID and visa documentation
- Ensure smooth candidate communication and a positive experience for all applicants
- Plan and execute recruitment days and seasonal hiring events
Employee Communication & Engagement
- Keep our Gasoline Grill app updated: handbooks, news, events, and surveys
- Plan and execute social events
- Support managers in keeping teams motivated and informed
HR Operations & Administration
- Prepare and update contracts, payroll changes, and career step adjustments
- Ensure all employee documents (tax, bank info, pensions, etc.) are in place
- Provide guidance to managers on employee cases, sick leave, and performance issues
- Conduct or support check-ins, warning letters, and exit processes when needed
- Help international employees with necessary paperwork
HR Data & Reporting
- Prepare HR data and reports (sick leave, headcount, turnover, etc.)
- Conduct pulse surveys and participate in business reviews with managers
- Support well-being and engagement initiatives across teams
HR Legal, Policies & Development
- Coordinate with HORESTA lawyers on contracts and HR policies
- Maintain and update employee handbooks and whistleblower processes
- Work environment and AMO
- Support ongoing projects
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong communication skills in both English and Danish (our internal language is English but you have to talk, read and write Danish since many official and legal documents demand Danish)
- Is empathic, structured, and enjoys working with many different people
- Is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic, international environment
- has some experience with recruitment, Danish employment law, or HR coordination

About Gasoline Grill
Gasoline Grill is a classic American inspired burger place (joint) based in Copenhagen. It opened its first burger bar in 2016 at an old gas station at Landgreven, a unique location in the center of the city.
Since its founding, it has been one of the fastest-growing burger concepts in Denmark. Today, Gasoline Grill owns and operates seven locations in the Copenhagen area (Landgreven, Niels Hemmingsens Gade, Carlsbergbyen, Værnedamsvej, Købmagergade, Parken and Strandgade - a high-end food market curated and run by the Noma Group and situated by the Copenhagen Habour). As well as franchised locations in Hellerup, Tivoli and Copenhagen Airport.
The concept is simple and authentic, a perfected classic burger using only organic ingredients, of which a few are secret. There is a limited number of burgers each day. Therefore, only an opening hour, no closing hour - It simply closes when it gets sold out.
